Applying Cream Color Corrector
My favorite technique for the cream correctors involves using my index finger for the applicator, although a sponge can work well also.
I like to put a little bit on the back of one hand, and then use my other index finger to work the makeup. I just go up and down with my finger and spread the corrector out a little. It also warms a bit too.
Depending on the correction you are trying to preform (like mint for red), I apply with the worked and warm corrector on my index finger over the red area, again mostly just press and release to distribute it lightly and evenly. If you get too much, you can use a dry sponge to blend and take up makeup.
Ideally, you would get the same tone but in a neutralized shade. You might see a little green or violet, but depending on your foundation, it shouldn't be too bright.
Over the corrector, apply your foundation. Try not redistribute the colour corrector previously applied.
Some people also blend the corrector into the foundation (after the foundation has been applied). I believe it could work as well.
